About Your Role With PEAK...

As Director of Environment, Health & Safety, you will lead PEAK’s Corporate safety strategy, driving a culture of safety, innovation, and compliance across all projects. This high-impact role partners with leadership and field teams to elevate performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster an incident-free work environment.  You will have the ability to have your thumbprint on PEAK’s Corporate Environment, Health, and Safety Success and Future!


Where you will make a difference…
  • Strategic Leadership & Program Development.  You will champion the continuous evolution of PEAK’s corporate EHS strategy, programs and policies, fostering a proactive safety culture.  You will implement PEAK’s corporate safety policy ensuring compliance with all applicable industry practices, requirements and regulations.
  • Project Oversight & Risk Mitigation.  You will plan, implement, and supervise comprehensive project safety protocols across all geographic regions and active job sites where PEAK operates through safety needs analysis, pre-installation safety planning, preventative measures awareness, and active internal and third-party audits.
  • Incident Management and Compliance.  You will lead the management and implementation of all preventative measures and corrective action while ensuring that all required safety records, logs, and reports are accurate, complete and communicated in a timely manner.
  • Training, Education & Culture Building.  You will design, lead and enhance safety training programs for all levels of staff from new hires to senior leadership.  The EH & S Director will build PEAK’s culture of safety through delivering OSHA 10/30 hour training programs, facilitating safety onboarding for new employees and subcontractors, and providing advanced safety certification and continuing education for PEAK staff.  Through planning, hosting, and presenting jobsite safety stand-downs, refreshers, and toolbox talks, You will cultivate a strong safety culture while recognizing safe work practices across PEAK teams.
  • Leadership & Communication Excellence.  You will demonstrate a proactive leadership approach by anticipating potential issues before they arise by adopting a continuous improvement mindset by actively seeking out knowledge gaps and opportunities to enhance safety practices.  The EH&S director will provide prompt and professional communication with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of safety-related matters.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational/Environment, Safety & Health, Construction Management, equivalent.  A Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction safety management or a closely related field, with strong field experience.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to guide, influence, and engage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards, construction safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented with a constructive, solution-driven mindset.
  • Ability to walk and access all necessary areas of the job site.

The target salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000.  We consider many factors when determining actual hiring salary.  These factors may include location, education, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certifications, and market demands.
